Engagement sessions really allow you to have fun with your everyday casual (or formal) life. It’s also a wonderful way to get to know me a bit, and furthermore gives you a chance to collect a nice set of photographs for your invitations, announcements, reception slideshows & more.
I sincerely value engagement sessions because it’s a relaxing and spontaneous time, allowing a chance for couples to get used to what it means to be in front of the camera. I don’t like overused poses, but don’t worry I always give prompts & directions on what to do! I’m a big nerd and you will most likely witness me freaking out at least once while taking photos because of how the light looks or how the images are turning out.
How long has it been since you've been photographed with your partner? Who says you need to be engaged to have photos done anyway? Maybe it's for an anniversary or you just want to have memories to look back on. I love the photos my husband and I have had done in the different stages of our marriage because it’s fun to look back and see how we have changed together.
