Since I started photographing at age 14, I have had a deep love and appreciation for black & white images. There is something timeless about them, but more than that I love the emotion that comes out.
I think a B&W photograph not only removes distractions, but also allows one to view the subject’s soul more clearly. I find it so beautiful to be able to feel the emotion that can come out in the image.
I have chosen a few of my favorite to share and I hope that when you see B&W photographs that you stop for a moment and look for the beauty and emotion that is there.
There is nothing better than photographing a beautiful friend, wearing a vintage dress, in her Midcentury home. Noelle is a dear friend, and it’s always refreshing spending time with her. Also, if you live in Ohio and need a photographer, she is your girl!
Happy New Years!
I've grown in a lot of different ways this year, and I'm excited for more self discovery through photography in 2016!
As I looked through photos to pick for this post, I couldn't help but remember all the wonderful people I got to photographing in 2015!
