It was a perfect summer evening (except for the swarming bugs), the sun was setting and that beautiful dusky light was coming. Bridgette & Colin are so kind & beautiful souls, and I enjoyed walking around a local park in Fort Wayne, IN with them. I can’t wait for their wedding later this fall.
Jill wanted to due a mixture of a portrait session of just her & a little in home lifestyle with her husband and their pups to document this time before their first babe arrives. I have really enjoyed doing both a mix of portraiture and lifestyle recently and there is no rule that says you can't do both! I can bring the studio to you.
Jill is such a beautiful and talented lady and I was thrilled to photograph this exciting time for their little family. Enjoy a few of my favorites from this session.
So while I don't have any kids, I was a nanny for 8 years and that has taught me that little ones don't want to just sit and smile for more than a small handful of photos (I can't blame them). That is why I enjoy photographing family lifestyle sessions so munch because I can document kids just doing their thing. That could be running around a park and showing me their cool tricks or if it's in home then it's show and tell of all the toys. I love that aspect of lifestyle sessions and feel it's so important to have real life memories.
It might have been a chilly spring day with this adorable family, but that didn't stop them from enjoying their favorite park in Fort Wayne. Below are a few of my favorites.
It was a perfect summer night when I went out to Myah's home to take her maternity photos. Myah is a beautiful soul and a dear friend so this was quite special. The St. John's will be welcoming their 4th little one in just a few weeks, and this babe has no idea how lucky and loved it is already.
Here are some of my favorites from Myah's shoot.
