Creative Portrait Sessions // Fort Wayne, IN Portrait Photography

At the beginning of the year I found a new love for portrait sessions and adding my own style to them. It's a contrast from a lifestyle shoot, but can be perfect individuals & couples.

I now offer these along with my Photanical Portraits (I announced Fall 2017) as options for 2018!

Lets create something!

A Look Back On 2017 | Fort Wayne & Indianapolis Photographer

What a year 2017 was in more ways that I can list. It was an amazing year filled with change, growth, and opportunities I had only dreamed about. I had the privilege of working with so many amazing couples, families, and individuals; who I can't thank enough for making this year one to remember. I loved meeting new people in Fort Wayne, IN, Indianapolis, IN, Chicago, IL, Fairfield, CT and Michigan.

I decided to just share an overview of the year, and I also mixed in some of my editorial work from my new website I launched earlier in the spring www.ruthyaro.com

Cheers to 2017 & excited to see what 2018 will bring.

I couldn't end this post without sharing the about the highlight of the year. I was given an amazing opportunity to freelance for The Wall Street Journal a couple times, and through it I had the pleasure of meeting some of the kindest people.

The Fishers | Fort Wayne, IN Family + Lifestyle Photography

I've known Maddie since I was a kid, and when I moved back to Fort Wayne we reconnected. Maddie and her husband Mitch are some of the most genuine and caring souls I know. Their little man is so full of personality and he decided we are now besties while I was there. It was a chilly Sunday morning in October, and a perfect day for a slow morning filled with coffee, homemade breakfast sandwiches and lots of coffee.

David Class of 2018 | Downtown Fort Wayne, IN Senior Photography

This senior photo session is quite special to me because David is my little brother. We’re about 12 years apart, so I can easily remember him being little and I can’t believe he’s a senior already. He is currently going through the process of enlisting in the Marines, and will be shipping off to bootcamp sometime this summer. It has been a dream of his for a long time, and I am very proud of him.
