Jill | Lifestyle + Creative Portrait Maternity Session in Fort Wayne, IN

Jill wanted to due a mixture of a portrait session of just her & a little in home lifestyle with her husband and their pups to document this time before their first babe arrives. I have really enjoyed doing both a mix of portraiture and lifestyle recently and there is no rule that says you can't do both! I can bring the studio to you.

Jill is such a beautiful and talented lady and I was thrilled to photograph this exciting time for their little family. Enjoy a few of my favorites from this session.

Ellington/Hartman Family | Foster Park Lifestyle in Session Fort Wayne, IN

So while I don't have any kids, I was a nanny for 8 years and that has taught me that little ones don't want to just sit and smile for more than a small handful of photos (I can't blame them). That is why I enjoy photographing family lifestyle sessions so munch because I can document kids just doing their thing. That could be running around a park and showing me their cool tricks or if it's in home then it's show and tell of all the toys. I love that aspect of lifestyle sessions and feel it's so important to have real life memories.

It might have been a chilly spring day with this adorable family, but that didn't stop them from enjoying their favorite park in Fort Wayne. Below are a few of my favorites.

The Fishers | Fort Wayne, IN Family + Lifestyle Photography

I've known Maddie since I was a kid, and when I moved back to Fort Wayne we reconnected. Maddie and her husband Mitch are some of the most genuine and caring souls I know. Their little man is so full of personality and he decided we are now besties while I was there. It was a chilly Sunday morning in October, and a perfect day for a slow morning filled with coffee, homemade breakfast sandwiches and lots of coffee.

David Class of 2018 | Downtown Fort Wayne, IN Senior Photography

This senior photo session is quite special to me because David is my little brother. We’re about 12 years apart, so I can easily remember him being little and I can’t believe he’s a senior already. He is currently going through the process of enlisting in the Marines, and will be shipping off to bootcamp sometime this summer. It has been a dream of his for a long time, and I am very proud of him.
