It was the first day of fall and it also happened to be the first day of cooler weather. It couldn’t have been more perfect to explore the Chicago Riverwalk and find some fun little spots in downtown during their shoot. They’re such an amazing couple and I knew we’d get long when the first few minutes was talking about how they want a corgi and so of course I had to show them photos of mine. I can’t wait to create with them next summer during their wedding.
She is from Texas and He is from Connecticut , and they call Chicago home. Earlier this summer I photographed their engagement session in their neighborhood and get to know them better. What I enjoy most about engagement sessions is the chance to get to know each couple better and it allows them to feel more comfortable with me on the wedding day (since I pretty much follow you everywhere except the bathroom). If you have the opportunity to do an engagement shoot, definitely take it! I promise I'll make it fun.
Here are a few favorites from Rachel & Jordan's shoot and I can't wait for their wedding on the East Coast in a few short weeks!

On a perfect fall morning, I documented the sweetest family as they made pancakes and had lots of snuggles with their little man. I can only imagine how fun it will be for Miles when he gets older and gets to see a glimpse of how life was when he was a baby.
